Well today is Labor Day. A couple months ago, I set a launch day of Sept 1 but didnt really pay too much attention to the actual calendar. It sounded like a good day and I was tired of pushing it back. Well, Sept 1 was a Sunday and Sept 2 is Labor day. Maybe a little more planning would have helped.
So Sept 2nd, being Labor Day, I actually had to work my nursing job. Had the developer meeting which went well. All the work that needed to get done over the weekend got done. Woke up to an email saying the new app is released on the Apple store. Google store on the other hand somehow they flagged for privacy issues. Not sure why, nothing has changed on that end. Next priority is making sure businesses that offer multiple services can split their employees for different services (plumbing and hvac for example). Developers said the code should be released Thursday. Great!
Our son spent the day at the in-laws since they were off of work. This made it so my wife could start cold calling service providers. Im really proud she started calling. If you havent ever cold called before, its not easy. We are lucky we are not trying to sell anything like a timeshare or anything but its still weird calling random people asking them to listen to you and convince them we can help them. She started calling and got a couple people that were interested but asked us to call back tomorrow because they were closed for Labor day. I was actually surprised how many businesses closed for Labor Day.
We are getting close, we will start on Sept 9.
