Well, today went well. Got some things squared away this morning as soon as I woke up, developers released some code we need and we made some progress getting providers.
Well, a lot of little things seemed to get accomplished today. The developers released some code which was helpful. We can now run our own Google Maps queries and use their API to collect businesses. I was depending on a python developer before but now its rewritten in Javascript and its integrated into our system. Time to double down on providers here in DFW.
I went and picked out an office today. 209…in the middle of the hallway which I wasn’t thrilled about..its an odd number…I wasnt thrilled about but it felt good. Is this a new mentality? Are odd numbers ok? No…but it works. While I was there, I realized we need to quickly release a new mobile app with the share links. We got the new Facebook ads up saying we will pay you if your referral uses the system. But from the mobile app they cant access the share on FB or get a share link anyways. We gotta fix that one ASAP.
The girls are cranking away at calls and going back through the lists we called already. It surprises me how many more people that picked up this time and said they are interested. One more code thing we need is to quickly have a way to build an account from scratch. Hopefully next week we will have the code. Then its medium pressure sales to ask a few questions and get the providers signed up and have the account setup for them.
Man..I hate the financial side of a business. Making payments sucks but its part of it. Im thankful our SEO guy is so patient. I dunno why on earth, but his bank has rejected 4 wire transfers and and ach transfer. We know the banking details are good but for some reason despite our bank and trying to use Wise… the damn wire transfer just wont go through. Finally paid by credit card. Next month we will try Stripe’s ACH. They take the money first, then pay out to his existing account.
