Well, like the title says, not much to report today. Woke up late and was late to my developer meeting. First time in 3 years of working with them. Looked at some office space and now writing this. Today seemed to fly by but I’m not sure why it went by so fast.
The developer meeting went well. One guy converted our python script to Javascript and has it about running. They are going to release the code tomorrow which is going to be super helpful as the girls calling providers ran out of work. THey are working their way back through the list for now. By Friday, they are hoping to release our simple CRM. This will be awesome to be more organized. I think everyone is looking forward to that.
After I wrote my post yesterday, I built out a bunch more services. We have about 7-8 new services we are going to start calling including dumpster rental. I’m not sure of the easiest way for this one though as if they have dumpsters available the only thing they can do is add the service. If they run out of stock, they will have to delete the service. I need to add a quantity thing on this one but that adds more complexity to code we are already behind on. It will have to wait for now.
Looked at office space and it looks like Im getting an office tomorrow. Its big enough for 2 desks but it will likely only be me in there for now. Its 7 minutes from the house, we get a real address for a Google Business Profile. We probably don’t need the GBP but it makes us look more legit. Had to choose between a windows office and a interior office. Call me crazy but Im going with an interior. It is a little cheaper but even without turning on the lights in the office, there is enough light to work. Its cozy.
