Today was a simple day and it didn’t seem like much work got done but we are moving forward regardless. Today was a day researching VC’s and stalking people on Linked in. Tomorrow will probably be nothing but the same but we will see. It’s amazing though how you can chat with random people on Linkedin. I have gone back and forth a few times with Jason Cohen from WP Engine. Super cool.
So the plan for the VC’s is to build my list of all of the possible companies and then apply. Im making a list of “easy” ones where you can just email or pitch or whatever directly. The rest will be the “hard” ones that are going to need Linkedin outreach and/or warm intros. Im not 100% sure how well the warm outreach will go but I’m hopeful a person or two will give me time of day and I’ll ask for their help if they are interested.
Going to schedule a meeting for next week with Lance Cottrell from Feel the Boot. Paid meeting but it will be a confidence builder and way to sure up my pitch before I get an actual opportunity. Pitch deck is back and we are doing a few edits but it’s basically done. I saw a VC site that wanted the elevator pitch on their intake form.
