Well, again, another day is gone and it doesn’t seem like much has been done. Our advertising efforts is reaching people and we are seeing traffic but not seeing conversion. I do know though, we can reach a ton of people and unless they need a service as of today, we won’t see the conversion. The question is what to do.
I feel impatient and thinking maybe its time to make a shift. We have only had the new reminders app up for a week which is not near enough time to get a sense of actual potential use. We do need to do a little tracking of app downloads related to that quiz but we need to finish setting up Branch for deep linking. I feel like there has to be better opportunities out there to advertise and see a little better response. The plumber ads are running but not getting conversion, just some clicks.
So the question is where do we go? I got a random email and a linked in request from some account manager at Fox to see if we are interested in running ads with them. I guess there is no reason not to talk to them to check on pricing and see how it works. We would really only want to advertise on the local Fox 4 channel and the local affiliates. It will be interesting to see how much it costs to get something like this going and see if we will actually see a return or not. If nothing else, it should offer some brand building.
I also think it may be time to start reaching out for some angel investing. Funds are doing ok, but I feel like a good angel investor may have some insight that could really help us grow. I need to look around and see who are people to reach out to. I know Jcal from the All in Pod says his DMs are always open but outside of him, I’m not too sure who to look at. I guess thats my next goal…round up some names to try and pitch.
